Hi Friends, I’m Maureen McAbee, travel lover, wife, mom to 3 teenage boys (!), nurse and
perpetual volunteer. Originally from the Midwest, I’ve traversed the USA 6 times, lived overseas
in Japan, deployed to the Middle East and traveled around the world as both a Navy veteran
and spouse. After planning numerous family vacations down to the minute detail, my sister
suggested I get into travel planning and now here I am – excited to plan your family’s next big
adventure as a Travel Planner with Pixie Travel!
My Disney adventures started with vacations to Walt Disney World in middle and high school
and I was immediately enthralled with the nostalgia and charm of the magic of Disney. I had the
opportunity to visit Tokyo Disneyland during a trip to climb Mt. Fuji and couldn’t believe how
familiar it felt to the American parks. Since my boys’ younger years, we’ve visited both WDW
and Disneyland several times and as they’ve gotten older, their love of everything Pixar, Star
Wars & Marvel has made it fun to discover some of the more modern-day Disney magic. I’ve
experienced RunDisney weekends with several lifelong Navy friends and have been known to
occasionally travel to the parks without my family!
Planning a vacation can seem overwhelming to some but for me the research, itineraries and
preparation fits my personality perfectly. I hate to miss out on a single detail and look forward to
putting the same time and energy into planning your next adventure. Whether it’s a family theme
park vacation, a luxurious cruise, a grand European tour or a weekend getaway, I’ll help you
every step of the way. From brainstorming destinations, to booking interesting experiences, I
